History
In June 1999, Max Doyle gained ownership of one of Tulsa’s greatest restaurants, The Chalkboard, located in the Historic Ambassador Hotel Downtown.
From there Live to Eat, LLC started in 2001 and arrangements began to open another restaurant.
In May 2003, Doyle accomplished his goal when Garlic Rose opened its doors in the heart of Brookside. For the past six years it has received rave reviews as well as rewards for its antipasti, entrées, & desserts. In April 2008, the second Garlic Rose was added to the restaurant family and has proven successful just like the one on Brookside.
